Warren Wilson College Athletics welcomes applications for an Assistant Soccer Coach for Men’s Soccer. This position will support the head coach with all phases of the men’s soccer program.
As an Assistant Coach, you will play a key role as the Men’s Soccer program, as well as the WWC Athletic Department, transitions to NCAA Division III. As a department, WWC Athletics values the total student-athlete experience. By immersing yourself in a culture that promotes inclusivity, diversity, togetherness, drive, creativity and curiosity, you will gain valuable on and off-field experience that will prepare you for future growth opportunities.
The primary responsibilities will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, in-game coaching, administrative duties, scouting and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Successful competing and/or one year of collegiate coaching experience; you must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.
This is a part-time position requires a minimum one-year commitment and includes an annual stipend. In addition, there will be opportunity for camp revenue, club coaching opportunities and a meal plan for 100 meals.
