DePauw University is accepting applications for a full-time assistant coach for field hockey and women's lacrosse (this is a single position with combined sport responsibilities). This is a renewable, 10-month appointment and does include benefits. DePauw University is an NCAA Division III Institution competing in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
This position is an excellent position to gain hands on coaching experience and experience all facets of collegiate coaching. The assistant coach will gain experience in all facets of program management including recruiting, practice and game preparation, student-athlete development, and administrative responsibilities related to running successful programs. High school diploma or GED, required; Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred. Candidate must have demonstrated organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Preference will be given to candidates who desire a career in coaching. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive on behalf of the University. Current certification in first aid, CPR and AED is required and must be maintained throughout their appointment with DePauw University.
