The Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association invites candidates for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director will be responsible for the general administration of the association, including membership management and expansion, fundraising, public relations and leadership of the association.

The Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association is the advocate for women’s collegiate gymnastics.  Current membership consists of collegiate women’s gymnastics coaches with an opportunity for expansion to affiliate members. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Association, Administration and Leadership
    • Be responsible for general administration of the WCGA
    • Membership expansion and structure
    • Promote the aims, interests and advocacy efforts of the association
    • Seek and cultivate relationships that will lead to corporate partnerships, sponsorships, grants, fundraising for the association and in collaboration with the collegiate gymnastics growth initiative committee
    • Meet annual fundraising goals
    • Provide regular updates to members
    • Maintain contacts and a working relationship with the media
    • Manage annual convention and other meetings
    • Administer the pre-season poll and other awards voting, announcements
    • Communicate with the NCAA, USA Gymnastics, ICAC, and other coaches associations, as needed in conjunction with the President
    • Manage professional development opportunities for coaches throughout the year
    • Keep current on college athletics news and happenings
    • Conduct research as needed for the Association
    • Oversite of website and social media accounts


  • Board of Directors’ Business
    • Regularly communicate with the Board of Directors
    • Make necessary arrangements for regular board meetings, including the agenda
    • Provide information for board meetings on association business
    • Be responsible to the will of the Board of Directors
  • Association Finances
    • Work with the treasurer to create annual budget of expenditures and receipts to the Board of Directors foradoptioneachyear
    • Ensure the Board of Directors receives monthly statement
    • Ensure compliance with IRS filings and other legal obligations

Work Schedule:

  • The executive director is expected to provide a full time commitment to the WCGA. Working hours are flexible and the majority of the work will be completed remotely, aside from the annual WCGA convention held in-person in May. Additional travel may be necessary


  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Estimated salary range $35000 - $50000
  • Paid as an independent contractor
  • No health or retirement benefits
  • Vacation negotiable
