About eiFOCUS®:
eiFOCUS® is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the emotional intelligence of coaches and athletes, with a particular focus on the training of coaches of female athletes. We provide emotional intelligence training to female athletes and to coaches of female athletes supplemented by valuable insights and strategies through our website and published materials. Our team is driven by a commitment to empower leadership through emotional intelligence, and we are fueled by a wealth of resources and expertise delivered by our network of esteemed outside consultants.

Position: Executive Director (Part-Time/Full-Time)

Location: Contra Costa County, CA. (Remote)

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Summary:
eiFOCUS® seeks a dynamic and passionate Executive Director to lead our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will be a former full-time professional—potentially an individual seeking a balance between work and personal life—who is looking to invest their time in a purposeful and value-driven environment. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational management of eiFOCUS®, including program execution, business planning, fundraising, and external relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategize, plan, and execute training programs in collaboration with external consultants.
• Develop and maintain a robust network with coaches, athletes, and other stakeholders in the emotional intelligence and sports domain.
• Oversee and contribute to the development of content for our training programs, website, and book publications.
• Cultivate a strong organizational culture that aligns with our values and promotes our mission.
• Manage the organization’s budget, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
• Lead fundraising efforts and cultivate relationships with donors and partners.
• Report to the Board of Directors on organizational progress and challenges.

Qualifications:
• Proven leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
• A strong interest in sports, coaching, and the promotion of emotional intelligence.
• Skills that correlate with budgeting and fundraising.
• Exceptional networking skills with a talent for nurturing professional relationships.
• Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegation, and program development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
• Strong knowledge and abilitity to quickly learn software.
