SUNY Cortland is seeking applicants for a full-time, 9.5 month position as Head Coach of Women’s Gymnastics. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the Women’s Gymnastics program, including, but not limited to: practice preparation, skill instruction, student-athlete development, recruiting, budget management, team travel, scheduling, academic success and student-athlete welfare. Responsibilities include the administration and organization of a successful program that competes in the East Region of the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) and adheres to all NCGA and NCAA Division III rules and regulations. Course instruction in the Physical Education, Sport Management or Exercise Science Programs is also required.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sport Management, Exercise Science or a related field. A Master’s Degree and three to five years of coaching experience at an NCAA institution is highly preferred.
