SUNY Cortland is seeking applicants for a full-time, 9.5 month position as Head Softball Coach.  The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the softball program, including, but not limited to: practice preparation, skill instruction, on-field coaching, student-athlete development, recruiting, budget management, team travel, scheduling, academic success and student-athlete welfare.  Responsibilities include the administration and organization of a successful program that competes in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and adheres to all NCAA Division III rules and regulations.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree and college softball coaching experience is required. Preference may be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sport Management, Exercise Science or a related field.  A Master’s Degree and three to five years of coaching experience at an NCAA institution is highly preferred.
