This position maintains the athletic supplies and equipment used by university athletic teams and ensures equipment rooms are in order. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: launder uniforms and other equipment as needed; receive and issue sports supplies and equipment to coaches and players; conduct inventory of supplies and equipment; prepare supplies and equipment for travel with athletic teams.  Additional duties include participation in the budgetary process; repair of damaged equipment; meeting sales representatives on new and existing products, and other duties, as assigned.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Serve as a  contact for department with apparel vendor, documenting all orders and deliveries
  • Consult with coaches to forecast apparel and equipment needs and make necessary adjustments
  • Serve as a department liaison with equipment and embellishment vendors
  • Ensure compliance with all NCAA and Conference regulations, particularly those involving equipment, apparel, and camps
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  •  A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid driver’s license
  • AEMA Certification or obtained within one year of hire date
  • 3 years demonstrated experience within collegiate or professional athletic equipment room operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous work within a Division I Intercollegiate Athletics program and experience working with various sport programs
  • Vinyl printing machine and software; Heat Transfer machine and process
  • Basic sewing skills for garment alteration and repair
