Job Summary:

Under administrative direction, the Women's Basketball Support Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of video production of all practices and games of the women’s basketball program.

Job Duties:

· Analyzes game film and collaborates with the coaches in preparation of competition strategy; charts and records statistics to forecast efforts for basketball plays, student-athletes, and the team; provides successful approaches to game strategy for the coaching staff; creates game day and season-end highlight videos.

· Coordinates filming of all practices and games; edits and provides scout tape of opponents to coaching staff; works with assistant coaches to create edits after games and assists in presentation to individual players; maintains, repairs and updates video equipment; organizes film exchange; completes weekly compliance sheets on practice hours.

· The position supports Women's Basketball operations; prepares student- athletes for personal, academic, and athletic development success.

· Maintains compliance with NCAA, Atlantic 10, and university rules and regulations; and performs other duties as assigned.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

· Knowledge and understanding of the sport of women’s basketball in order to produce edits with correct scouting information, formations, and game situations

· Knowledge and use of XOS editing software, Synergy software, and FastModel software

· Interpersonal/human relation skills

· Written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to edit footage to use for a variety of formats including television and internet

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with two (2) years of related experience.
