Mission

The data tells the story. We need more women in the coaching profession—in all sports and levels. Through our Aspiring Women Coaches Workshops we will help women Catch a Vision for their coaching career. WeCOACH will be the national leader in actively recruiting more women coaches to build the pipeline of future leaders in sports. These virtual workshops are free and open to any woman aspiring to coach in any sport, at any level. Participants will learn best practices for securing coaching opportunities, networking, and career strategy. If you are a current or soon-to-be-graduating student-athlete, professional athlete soon to retire from your playing career, graduate assistant and/or team manager, etc. who aspires to coach, then Catch a Vision is for you! Together we will MOVE the NUMBERS to support and increase women in coaching!

Will Baggett

Founder of The Executive Image (Emergent Executives LLC)

Will Baggett is a former major event sports administrator, having been recognized by the White House Department of Communications for outstanding service to the President of the United States during his time at the College Football Playoff. Will has also helped produce events such as the Super Bowl, Final Four and a host of college football bowl games. Will formerly served as an athletic performance coach at Baylor, SMU and TCU leading to multiple conference championships, and most importantly, student-athletes graduating with valuable degrees.

 

 

Cary Groth

Director of the University of Nevada, Reno Sports Management Program and CEO of The PICTOR Group

Cary is a highly accomplished athletics administrator who has over 40 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics. As a former student-athlete, head women’s tennis coach and athletics administrator, she has had a very successful and dynamic career. Serving as an Athletics Director at two NCAA Division I FBS institutions; Northern Illinois University and the University of Nevada, Cary is credited for leading both institutions into nationally competitive athletics programs while increasing the graduation rate of student-athletes.Cary has served on various Conference and NCAA Committees including President George W. Bush’s Commission on Opportunity in Athletics. She has also served as President, Women Leaders in College Sports. She was awarded the Women Leaders in College Sports Administrator of the Year Award as well as the WBCA’s Administrator of the Year.
