Why should I join?

WeCOACH is a strong, vast, and unified community of coaches representing ALL Sports at ALL Levels. When you become a member of WeCOACH, you will find the support you need to advance your own career and coaching skills that transcend your specific sport. Through our network, you will be inspired and in turn, inspire other girls and women to follow in your footsteps.  Become a Member

What levels of membership does WeCOACH offer?

Depending on your coaching level, we have an individual membership just for you!  Before purchasing your membership, check our list of group member institutions/organizations to see if yours is listed.  If so, contact your institution’s/organization’s Point-of-Contact to see if you are eligible to register on the group membership.  If your institution/organization is not listed and you are interested in significant cost savings for all women coaches at your institution/organization, check out our group membership levels.

Do I have to be a college coach to be a member?

No! WeCOACH is committed to recruiting, advancing, and retaining ALL women coaches in ALL sports at ALL levels!

Membership Options

Are there group membership options?

Yes. Group Membership options are available to fit the size of your institution, organization, association, or conference. Group membership provides the benefit of significant costs savings per member.

What institutions/organizations have group memberships?

Take a look at our Group Member Institutions/Organizations.  They have chosen to support their women coaches in a positive and meaningful way through a WeCOACH membership!

Help! I am the Point-of-Contact (POC) for our institution's/organization's group membership. I have questions.

How do I renew our group membership?

As the POC, you will receive a couple of email renewal reminders as your group membership nears expiration.  If your membership has not yet expired, login to the WeCOACH website and access your MY ACCOUNT page from the main tool bar or menu. On the Subscriptions tab, click the Renew link on your membership at the current level. Click the Change Plan link if you want to upgrade or downgrade your membership level.  You don’t have to wait your expiration date to renew.  If you renew before your expiration date, 12 months will be added to your current membership.

If your membership has already expired, login to the WeCOACH website and access your MY ACCOUNT page from the main tool bar or menu.  On the Subscriptions tab, click the Subscribe link on your expired membership to renew at the same membership level.  To renew at a different membership level, choose the appropriate group level from the Membership Options page.

We need a larger or smaller group membership.  Can I change our current membership level?

Yes.  Login to the WeCOACH website and access your MY ACCOUNT page from the main tool bar or menu. On the Subscriptions tab, click the Change Plan link to change your membership level. You may change your membership level at anytime while the membership is active. This will renew your membership for another 12-months and the change will be pro-rated based on the amount of time remaining on your current membership level.

How do I view our current membership roster?

As the Point-of-Contact (POC) you are also a member. However, your membership does not count toward the limit on your chosen group membership level; it’s a freebie! You may only view your group membership roster if your group membership has not yet expired. You must first login to the WeCOACH website. View your group roster by entering your username on the Group Member Admin page.

How do I add and/or remove members?

You must first login to the WeCOACH website.  View and confirm your group roster by entering your username on the Group Member Admin page.  Follow the instructions at the bottom of the page to add and/or remove members.

My institution needs an invoice to renew our group membership.  How do I request an invoice?

Email memberships@wecoachsports.org with your request for an invoice stating what group membership level you are interested in purchasing.  We will email you an invoice along with a W-9 for your accounting department.  You may either purchase online via credit card or remit a check payable to WeCOACH to the address on the invoice.  Your membership will begin once we receive payment at which time we will notify the Point-of-Contact.

What if I am not an active coach, but I want to be involved in WeCOACH and furthering the mission?

Here are some great ways to engage and support the mission of WeCOACH

1. Join as an Ally Member

3. Make a Donation to help support and expand existing programs and resources for our members.

Now that I am a member, how do I access my member account?

Once you login to the WeCOACH website, you may access your account profile and membership status via the MY ACCOUNT link located on the main toolbar or menu of the WeCOACH website.

We encourage you to keep your profile updated so that we can stay engaged with you.  You may review your membership details and renew your membership from the Subscriptions tab on your account page

To login, enter your username and password.  If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password link to receive instructions to reset your password.  The instructions will be sent to the email you used to register for your membership. If you no longer have access to that email account, please email a request to update your email address to memberships@wecoachsports.org.

How do I renew my individual membership?

My membership is through my institution's/oganization's group membership. What happens if I leave the institution/organization?

Since your institution/organization purchased the membership, your membership will end since the membership remains with the purchasing institution/organization.

Moving onto another coaching position?  Check to see if the institution/organization your are joining also has a group membership with WeCOACH.  If so, contact the Point-of-Contact listed for your new institution/organization to inquire how to register for a new membership. I changed jobs. How do I update my member profile?

First, congratulations on the new job!  If your membership is current, login to the WeCOACH website and access MY ACCOUNT from the main tool bar or main menu.  From your account Home tab, update your profile information.  Please note, your username cannot be changed.  If you used your previous email address as your username, Contact Us and we will send you instructions on how to re-register with a different username.

If you were on a group membership with your prior institution/organization, your membership will end since the membership remains with the purchasing institution/organization. You will want to check to see if the institution/organization your are joining also has a group membership with WeCOACH.  If so, contact the Point-of-Contact listed for your new institution/organization to inquire how to register on their group membership. My institution/organization needs an invoice to purchase my event registration.

Email events@wecoachsports.org with your request for an invoice the desired event registration or ticket purchase.  We will email you an invoice along with a W-9 for your accounting department.  You may either purchase online via credit card or remit a check payable to WeCOACH to the address on the invoice.  You will not be confirmed for the event until payment is received.  Please be sure to review and understand our Cancelation and Refund Policy for the particular event on the event’s webpage before you make any purchase.

Is WeCOACH a nonprofit organization?

Yes, WeCOACH is a 501c(3) organization.  Our mission is to recruit, advance, and retain women coaches of all sports and levels through education and community building.  As a nonprofit, individual donations and corporate sponsorships are vital to supporting and expanding our work and reach.  If our mission resonates with you, would you consider becoming a supporter through a donation?  We especially welcome regular, on-going donations. A small, monthly donation goes a long way!  It is easy to set-up an automated, monthly donation.  All donations are tax-deductible.  I want to donate.

How can I support the work of WeCOACH?

As a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, our donors are vital to supporting and expanding our work and our reach.  Are you interested in joining with those who contribute financially?  We especially welcome those that seek more than a one-time opportunity and desire to have a sustaining effect on our work through regular, on-going donations.  It’s easy to set-up an automatic, monthly donation.

Who can post a job in the WeCOACH Job Center?

Anyone can post a coaching job or a similar position for any athletic institution or organization. You do not have to be a member to post a position.  All job postings must be submitted and paid for online.  Currently, our group members may post positions at no charge!  Group members must be logged-in to access instructions to post for free.

I'm not receiving WeCOACH emails

Are you a member and not receiving your monthly High-5 e-newsletter?  Did you not receive a receipt for your event registration, membership or other online purchase?  Did you apply for a WeCOACH event or program and not receive an acknowledgment?

There could be a few reasons why you may not be receiving WeCOACH emails. 

  1. Your spam filter may be blocking WeCOACH emails and directing them to your spam/junk folder.  Look there first!  To help future delivery add the WeCOACH domain, wecoachsports.org, to your safe-senders list.
  2. Your institution or organization firewall may be blocking delivery of WeCOACH emails.  Contact your IT department and request that the WeCOACH domain, wecoachsports.org, be added to their safe-senders list.
  3. We use Constant Contact to send many of our automated emails.  Constant Contact may have “suspended” your email address.  Contact us to let us know you are not receiving WeCOACH emails and we will check to see if Constant Contact has suspended your email address and submit a request to un-suspend it.
I can't find my receipt

If you have paid for a membership or event online and can’t find your receipt, contact us requesting a receipt to be re-sent.  Please provide as much detailed information as possible about the event or timeframe your membership was purchased.  Please note that all online payments are processed via PayPal.  Don’t worry, you don’t have to have a PayPal account.  You may pay via a credit card via PayPal without having a PayPal account.  When making any purchase you will receive a PayPal auto-receipt as well as an auto-acknowledgment from WeCOACH.  Please note that WeCOACH does not have access to any credit card information.  We can provide a receipt for the amount, but are not able to provide specific credit card information.
