PROGRAM OVERVIEW
WeCONNECT Women Coaches is coach-led & coach-inspired. Join one or more WeCONNECT huddles to engage in powerful peer-to-peer learning, foster meaningful networking connections and be part of an uplifting support group. WeCONNECT is designed to bring women coaches from diverse backgrounds, sports, and levels together virtually, to empower each other.
WeCOACH is currently offering four (4) WeCONNECT Women Coaches Huddles:

1. Timely Issues for Women Coaches
This huddle explores the evolving challenges and opportunities facing women in coaching today. From navigating gender equity and work-life balance to addressing pay disparities, representation, and mental health, participants will engage in meaningful peer-to-peer dialogue and gain actionable insights. Designed for coaches, athletic leaders, and advocates, our Timely Issues for Women Coaches huddle fosters community, empowers leadership, and equips members with tools to drive change within their team and beyond.

2. Women of Color Amplified
Inclusivity and diversity are paramount in coaching. Connect with women coaches of color, exchange experiences, address unique obstacles, and amplify the voices of women coaches of color.

3. Moms in Coaching
Balancing coaching and motherhood can be tough, even daunting, and may leave you wondering if there’s a manual for this? Connect with fellow coaching moms, exchange strategies, celebrate triumphs and tribulations, and thrive both in competition and at home.

4. WeREAD Book Club
The WeREAD Huddle Group is a coach-led, coach inspired book club for casual or passionate readers looking to make connections and build your network with fellow coaches while engaging in interactive book discussions.

July 14 at 2pm ET – Gen Z Strategies for Communication, Coaching, Connection & Team Culture
Dive into practical strategies for effectively connecting with and coaching today’s athletes.
July 28 at 2pm ET– Coaches These Days
A closing discussion on coaching in today’s landscape and how we can bridge the gap between coaches and athletes. Betsy Butterick will join us to facilitate this final session.

WeCONNECT “Co-Captains” will organize and facilitate throughout the academic year. These dedicated peer leaders will guide discussions to create an inclusive safe space for coaches to share openly and tap into the learning experiences and advice from other huddle members.
Participants may join as many WeCONNECT Huddles as you wish— commit the time, engage regularly in meetings and come prepared to contribute to the conversations. Co-Captains determine the frequency of huddle meetings (no more than once per month) based on member availability.

Registration for the four (4) WeCONNECT Women Coaches huddles is open to WeCOACH members on a rolling basis throughout 2025-26.
Co-Captains will determine the frequency of huddle meetings (no more than once per month) based on member availability. WeCONNECT Huddles will wrap up in May 2026.
