Lindsey Wilson College seeks a Head Women’s Flag Football Coach. The college is a member of the Mid-South Conference and the NAIA. The head coach will direct and coordinate the planning, organizing and coaching of the women’s flag football program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruitment and enrollment of student-athletes in accordance with college policy, supervising coaching staff, in-game coaching, conducting practices, organizing team travel, monitoring student-athletes’ academic and social progress, equipment maintenance and purchases, budget management, fund-raising and administrative duties required to develop a nationally competitive women’s flag football program. The successful candidate will represent the athletic department in professional, civic, charity and alumni events. A demonstration to the commitment of the college’s mission is expected.
Lindsey Wilson is a vibrant four-year liberal arts college affiliated with The United Methodist Church. The college is located on more than 75 partially wooded acres in Columbia, KY, a town about 20 miles from Southern Kentucky’s world-renowned lake area.
Review of applications will begin immediately with an anticipated hiring date of December 2024. Recruitment and enrollment of 17+ student-athletes for fall 2025 is expected. The program will begin intercollegiate competition in spring 2026. This is a 12-month, full-time position with benefits. Qualifications include: minimum of a bachelor’s degree with previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
