DePauw University is accepting applications for an assistant coach for women's lacrosse. This is a full time position (11-month work schedule) and includes benefits. DePauw University is an NCAA Division III Institution competing in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
The assistant coach for women's lacrosse is responsible for assisting the head women's lacrosse coach in implementing and directing all phases of a competitive NCAA Division III women's lacrosse program at DePauw University. This includes recruiting quality student-athletes, organizing and planning practices and game strategies, scouting, coaching, scheduling, budgeting and planning team travel in compliance with University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. This position will have a secondary responsibility within the athletics department.
Bachelor's Degree required. Collegiate playing experience in women's lacrosse is highly desirable. Previous lacrosse coaching experience (any level) preferred. Candidates must have demonstrated organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive on behalf of the University. Current certification in first aid, CPR and AED is required and must be maintained throughout their appointment with DePauw University.
