Jen Brooks

Ursuline Academy

Jen Brooks, CMAA, serves as Athletic Director at Ursuline Academy, an all girls college prep high school in St. Louis, MO. She has served in a leadership role at the Academy for 25 years, 23 as the Athletic Director. Jen manages the 14 sport program, including coaching management and development, athletic training and the successful support of over 200 student athletes each year. During her tenure at Ursuline Jen has contributed to the introduction of new competitive sports including golf, cheer, dance, lacrosse and more recently racquetball. Beginning her professional career as a coach at both the high school and collegiate level, Jen knows first hand the powerful impact that mentoring and leadership can have on a team and program. She feels compelled to expand her reach beyond Ursuline Academy by serving on a number of athletic associations including: Gold Level Mentor in the WECOACH mentoring program, President of the Metro Women’s Athletic Association (2010-13), mentor coordinator for the Missouri Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, private school liaison and advocate for the state of Missouri for Girls’ Field Hockey and Lacrosse. Jen has served in critical roles for the Missouri State High School Activities Association, including two years on the investigative committee and the constitutional study committee.

A three sport athlete in high school, Jen continued her love for athletics as a student athlete at Maryville University where she played basketball, soccer and softball while earning her Bachelors of Arts. Jen resides in Kirkwood, MO with her husband of 24 years, Don, and two student athlete children, Nora, 21 and Luke, 19.
