
Description
The Assistant Softball Coach plays a vital role in supporting all aspects of a successful NCAA Division III softball program within the MIAC (Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). In addition to coaching responsibilities, this position also leads the University’s intramural and recreational sports programming—fostering a campus culture of wellness and engagement for all students.
Responsibilities:
* Assist head softball coach in meeting all annual athletic department goals as related to recruitment of strong student- athletes.
* Direct softball coaching and administrative responsibilities: Lead student-athletes to a strong team structure that develops student-athlete experiences and competitive team results. Administrative support for softball program.
* Including travel arrangements, budgets, ordering equipment, and other areas as needed.
* Organize and execute the University’s intramural and rec sports programming. Engage the entire campus community and administer intramural and rec sports programs that help’s students reach their health and fitness goals.
